Frequently asked questions
Are your art prints based on original art works?
Yes, all of the art prints available on The Pictorial are copies of original paintings created by our in-house artist. We bring you unique pieces that you won't find anywhere else.
How are your fine art prints created?
We use Giclée printing which is a high-quality digital printing technique renowned for its ability to reproduce vibrant colours and a wide range of tones which capture the nuances of the original artwork. We choose archival quality Hahnemühle German Etching Paper which gives our prints a textured, hand made feel.
Our Giclée prints are made to order and come to you directly from a well-established UK based print studio.
Do you offer framing services?
No, not at the moment, though this is something we hope to offer in the future. Most of our prints are either standard ‘A’ paper sizes or Ikea frame sizes (in some cases we offer both variants), so it is easy to find frames for all of our prints.
Do your prints come mounted?
No, our prints do not include separate mounts. Most feature a white border, eliminating the need for a mount. If you wish to mount your print, they are easy to buy separately and some frames also come with mounts.
Can I customize the size of your art prints?
We offer standard sizes for our art prints, but if you have specific size requirements, please email us or fill in the Contact Form, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
You can send an enquiry via the Contact page.
What is your returns policy?
As our items are fragile and made to order we do not currently accept returns.
We want you to be happy with your purchase, and will try to be as accommodating as possible so if there is a problem with an item, such as it arriving damaged, please do get in touch and we will try to resolve the issue.
You can send an enquiry via the Contact page.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship our art prints worldwide. Please see our Ordering and Shipping page for more details.
